Our next North London SOF meeting will be held on Saturday 17th May, hosted by Janet Seargeant, starting at 11.00am and then having a shared lunch. Please bring contributions to the lunch. We will provide wine and soft drinks.
Martin Spence has kindly agreed to speak and lead our discussion following on from his article in the March edition of Sofia about the conference he attended last year at Emmanuel College on the 40th anniversary of Don’s original Sea of Faith programmes. In his article he put some of his own views about the position of SOF now, 40 years later, and this seemed to link up with articles by Dave Francis and David Boulton asking our reaction to the change made to the stated purpose of the Network that was approved at the last AGM. We think this will be most interesting and we are grateful that Martin is able to lead us in this discussion.
