19 February 2025

Peter has been involved in the prison system and the issues it raises for most of his life, and was Bishop to Prisons for five years and President of the National Council for Independent Monitoring Boards for five years. We all know that there is a crisis in the criminal justice system but in this conversation we explored whether behind the crisis is a lack of coherent thinking about the morality of punishing people.
